I am moving to Lucca! Really, because of my experiece with Serenella, I am moving to Lucca !
On Serenella's tours, she exposed me to visits, events and surprises I would not have been able to experience on my own...

I suppose technically we’re not “girl” friends anymore…I’ve known Tish since 1966 and Jimmie since 1970. But believe me when I say that, while in Italy with Serenella Leoni in September of 2005 (and again in October of 2007), we drank wine, checked out the men, drank wine, ate everything we could get our hands on, drank wine, and giggled like girls. A lot.
We reminisced about the “old days” and husbands who are no longer living, laughing and crying together. But mostly we just simply had fun being together – years be damned! I can hardly wait for us to do it again!

There is a small winery very close to the villa, the name escapes me now but it had an 'open' sign up. Everything was closed and no one was around.
I noticed someone out in the vineyard far away, I yelled to him and he said he was open - all in Italian of course. He put his shirt on, came to unlock the door and gave us a tasting - a very small ma and pa operation but was great enough to buy some…
Also. going East from the Villa is a small ristorante called "Al Pioppo". They had incredible food and great prices! We went twice, no menus, you just ask them what they have available, …. the "mamma" came out and talked to people and the kids were very hospitable and nice....a wonderful experience!! - Bryce, Florida

We returned on Sunday night-- Damiano was just wonderful. A gem of a house, with a lovely garden and a terrific view. We just loved it. Morena, the cook, was a hoot! We had such a good time "talking" with her! And she is such a good cook; the food was fabulous! The weather was wonderful, and I spent time in and by the pool most days.
